The bluffs and gorges of the Iron Mountain area provide many opportunities for rock climbing and bouldering. Quartz composite rock formations make secure and stable handholds. Exhilarating vistas and cascading creeks add exciting character to your day of climbing. The spectacular show of fall colors is our favorite climbing season. You will learn modern rope and equipment management during our session. Our experienced and well-trained guides use only the finest equipment. Join in on our vertical activates with rock climbing and our Alpine Towers.
Safety is our number one priority. Participants are on belay at all times with ropes tied directly to the harness. Belayers are backed up with belayer monitors. The finest equipment and state of the art policies further enhance the overall safety system.
Be sure to dress for the weather and wear comfortable clothing that will allow for maximum range of motion. For your feet you will want to wear sneakers or hiking boots (no flip-flops or bare feet). You can also bring a camera so that you have proof of your 100-foot vertical ascent!
